How to Request Account Deletion
There are two ways to delete your Claricito account:
Option 1 — From within the app (fastest)
- Open the Claricito app on your device.
- Tap the Settings icon (bottom navigation bar).
- Select Privacy & Data.
- Tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm your decision when prompted.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your request.
Option 2 — By email
Send an email to support@claricito.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your Claricito account so we can locate and remove it. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from Claricito's systems:
Account & Profile
Your name, email address, password, profile photo, and personality type.
Conversations
All conversation history with Clari, including messages, voice transcripts, and any shared media.
Letters
All letters written by Clari for you.
Mood & Reflection Data
All mood check-ins, daily reflections, emotional patterns, and arc/outlook history.
Streak & Engagement Data
Your streak history, session logs, and any engagement records tied to your account.
Location Data
Any location clusters or place data collected if you opted in to location features.
Notification Preferences
All push notification settings and device tokens associated with your account.
What Data May Be Retained
After account deletion, a limited subset of data may be retained for legal and operational reasons:
Billing Records
If you had an active or past subscription, transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by applicable financial and tax regulations. These records do not include your personal conversation or emotional data.
Aggregated & Anonymous Data
De-identified, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you individually may be retained for product improvement purposes.
Legal Holds
In cases where data must be preserved due to a legal obligation or active dispute, we may retain the minimum data required for that purpose.
Before You Delete — Subscription Note
Deleting your Claricito account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription before or alongside your account deletion request:
- iOS: Settings app → tap your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Claricito → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play app → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Claricito → Cancel.
